Historic architecture, lovely gardens for relaxation, proximity to Ripon Cathedral

Room maintenance issues need addressing!!! The window shutters are frustrating to operate. The noise insulation lacks improvement!!!

Had a fun getaway with friends! We loved exploring the garden and the breakfast options were great, especially the Gardener's breakfast. We visited a nearby cathedral event and enjoyed a nice dinner. It’s in a quiet spot yet close to everything you need. I recommend this place for a chill group trip!

One slight annoyance was the church bells on Sunday morning. It’s expected being so close to a church, but it did wake us up early.

Had a lovely time here! Enjoyed the cozy lounge with its real fire and the peaceful garden terrace for some relaxation. The mattress could use an upgrade for better comfort, but it didn't ruin our stay – definitely try the full breakfast!

The breakfast menu had a fixed selection, which could feel restrictive for some-just a single option for everyone is a bit odd. The absence of a coffee table in my room was noticeable, though they delivered one promptly when I requested it. Still, it left me wondering about the room's layout.

the deanery is a lovely old building with a charming atmosphere. we had a superior double room that felt really comfortable. the hotel is a stone's throw from the cathedral and the middle of town, perfect for exploring! the breakfast impressed, especially the range of locally sourced ingredients.

We enjoyed a lovely one-night escape in a beautiful superior double room. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, especially with dietary preferences during an indulgent breakfast banquet. The atmosphere resonated with history, conveniently located near the stunning Cathedral and the vibrant town square. Highly recommend strolling for evening festivities!

I stayed in the Superior Double Room and it felt really comfortable. The decor had a lovely old charm, and despite some wonky floors, it added character without being too annoying. The bathroom was decent-sized and came with nice Molten Brown toiletries. a cozy spot to unwind after exploring the town.

Amazing birthday bash!

Had a blast celebrating my dad’s 90th here! The Cathedral dining room was perfect for our 32 guests, and the food was super tasty. Staff were really helpful and friendly, making everything run smoothly. Just wish there was a bit more space for mingling afterward, but it didn’t ruin the day at all.
